Ratguard Pro 360 - Ultrasound Rat Repellent for Warehouses & Godowns
Frequently Asked Questions
It emits high-frequency ultrasound sound in the 22-65 kHz range across a 360-degree field. Rats and mice hear it clearly and find the environment uncomfortable, so they move away. It is silent to people, uses no chemicals or poison, and needs no refills or servicing - suitable for spaces where stock, food or packaging is stored.
One Pro 360 covers up to 2,500 sq ft of open floor area. ultrasound sound does not pass through walls, racking runs or closed shutters, so a godown split into bays or a warehouse with solid partitions needs one unit per section rather than one for the whole building. Use the multi-unit packs above for larger sites.
It reduces rodent activity - it is not an extermination product, and no ultrasound device can guarantee 100% prevention in every situation. How well it works depends on the level of infestation, food sources nearby, open entry points, hygiene and how the unit is placed. Treat it as part of your overall rodent control alongside sealing entry points and removing food sources, not as a replacement for them. We say the same thing in our Legal Notice, and we would rather set this expectation before you buy than after.
Most customers notice reduced activity within 7-10 days. In warehouses and godowns with heavy infestation, open loading bays or accessible food stock, it can take 3-4 weeks. Keep units powered continuously for the best result.
Mount or place units 1-1.5 metres above floor level with a clear line of sight down the aisles you want to protect. Stacked cartons, sacks and pallet racking absorb ultrasound sound, so corners behind stock get little benefit. Cover loading bays, drain openings and areas next to food or grain storage first, as those are the usual entry points.
Yes. The ultrasound frequency is outside the human hearing range and is safe for people, dogs and cats. There are no chemicals, poisons or traps involved. If you keep small pet rodents such as hamsters, guinea pigs or rabbits, do not use it in the same room - they hear the same frequencies rats do.
