Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with Ratguard. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch, ship, and deliver orders placed through our website. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms mentioned below.
1. Order Processing Time
Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days after successful order confirmation and payment verification. Orders placed on Sundays, public holidays, or non-working days may be processed on the next working day.
For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, dispatch may be subject to successful order verification through phone call, WhatsApp, SMS, or any other confirmation method used by Ratguard.
2. Shipping Locations
We currently ship products across serviceable locations in India through our courier and logistics partners. Delivery to certain remote areas, restricted zones, or non-serviceable pin codes may not be available.
Ratguard reserves the right to cancel or hold any order if the delivery address is incomplete, incorrect, suspicious, or not serviceable by our courier partners.
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be displayed at checkout before the order is confirmed. Shipping charges may vary depending on:
- Product type;
- Order value;
- Delivery location;
- Courier partner charges;
- COD or prepaid payment method.
Any COD handling charge, if applied at checkout, is non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.
4. Estimated Delivery Time
Estimated delivery time is generally 3–8 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on the delivery location and courier partner.
Delivery timelines are only estimates and may vary due to:
- Courier delays;
- Remote location serviceability;
- Weather conditions;
- Public holidays;
- Natural calamities;
- Strikes or transport disruptions;
- Government restrictions;
- Incorrect or incomplete customer address;
- Customer unavailability at the time of delivery.
Ratguard shall not be liable for delay caused by courier partners or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, tracking details may be shared through SMS, email, WhatsApp, or any other communication method provided at the time of placing the order.
Customers are responsible for tracking their shipment and coordinating with the courier partner if required.
6. Customer Address Responsibility
Customers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address, including:
- Full name;
- Mobile number;
- House/shop/office number;
- Street/locality;
- City;
- State;
- PIN code;
- Nearby landmark, if required.
Ratguard shall not be responsible for failed delivery, delay, or return shipment caused due to incorrect, incomplete, or unreachable address details provided by the customer.
7. Failed Delivery & Return to Origin (RTO)
If an order cannot be delivered due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, refused delivery, non-response to courier calls, or failed COD confirmation, the shipment may be returned to Ratguard.
In case of Return to Origin (RTO), Ratguard may deduct shipping charges, COD charges, handling fees, or any other actual logistics cost incurred before processing any eligible refund.
For prepaid orders returned due to customer-side delivery failure, re-shipping may be done only after the customer pays applicable re-shipping charges.
8. Damaged Package at Delivery
Customers are requested to inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the package appears visibly damaged, tampered, opened, or leaked, customers should:
- Refuse delivery, if possible;
- Take clear photos/videos of the package;
- Inform Ratguard support within 24 hours of delivery attempt or delivery;
- Share order ID and evidence with our support team.
Claims for damaged, missing, or tampered packages may be rejected if reported after 24 hours from delivery.
9. Missing Product or Wrong Product Delivered
If you receive a wrong product or find any item missing from your package, you must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery with:
- Order ID;
- Unboxing video;
- Package photos;
- Product photos;
- Invoice copy, if available.
An unboxing video may be required for claim approval in cases of missing product, wrong product, or damaged product claims.
10. Delivery Confirmation
Once courier tracking shows the order as delivered, it shall be considered successfully delivered unless the customer reports a genuine delivery dispute within 24 hours.
Ratguard may coordinate with the courier partner for delivery dispute verification, but final claim approval shall depend on courier investigation and available evidence.
11. Delayed Delivery
Delivery delay does not automatically qualify the order for cancellation, refund, or compensation once the order has been dispatched. However, customers may contact Ratguard support for assistance in tracking delayed shipments.
12. Product Installation After Delivery
Ratguard products should be installed and used only as per the instructions provided with the product or on our website. Shipping and delivery completion does not include installation service unless specifically mentioned in the order or product description.
13. Limitation of Liability
Ratguard shall not be liable for:
- Courier delay;
- Failed delivery due to incorrect address;
- Customer unavailability;
- Loss caused due to delayed delivery;
- Vehicle or property damage occurring before or after delivery;
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss related to shipping or delivery.
14. Jurisdiction
This Shipping Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of shipping, delivery, RTO, damaged parcel claims, or order fulfillment shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Surat, Gujarat, India, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
