Thank you for purchasing Ratguard products. We are committed to providing reliable ultrasonic rodent repellent solutions. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to all Ratguard products purchased through our website, marketplaces, distributors, or authorized sellers.

1. Warranty Coverage

Ratguard products are covered against verified manufacturing defects under normal usage conditions during the applicable warranty period.

Warranty Period

  • Ratguard SonicArmor X Car Protection Device: 2 Years Limited Warranty
  • Ratguard Home / Industrial Devices: 1 Year Limited Warranty
  • Accessories, adapters, cables, and consumable items: No warranty unless specifically mentioned.

The warranty period starts from the original date of delivery or invoice.

2. What Is Covered

  • Internal circuit malfunction
  • Power-related manufacturing defects
  • Speaker or transducer malfunction due to manufacturing fault
  • Device failure under normal recommended operating conditions

Ratguard reserves the right to repair, replace, or provide an equivalent resolution after inspection.

3. What Is Not Covered

  • Physical damage or breakage
  • Water damage or moisture exposure
  • Burnt components due to voltage fluctuations
  • Improper installation or unauthorized modifications
  • Reverse polarity connection
  • Damage caused by rodents, insects, pets, or external objects
  • Damage caused by fire, accident, impact, or negligence
  • Usage contrary to installation instructions
  • Cosmetic wear and tear
  • Tampering, opening, or unauthorized repair attempts
  • Damage during customer handling or transportation
  • Use with incompatible power sources or electrical systems

4. Product Performance Disclaimer

Ratguard products use ultrasonic deterrent technology designed to help reduce rodent activity. However, no ultrasonic repellent device can guarantee 100% prevention of rodent entry, nesting, wire cutting, or property damage in every environment.

Effectiveness may vary depending on infestation level, rodent species, rodent behavior, environmental conditions, hygiene, sanitation, food availability, installation location, entry points, surrounding conditions, continuous power supply, and uninterrupted operation.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To request warranty support, the customer must provide:

  • Order ID or invoice copy
  • Registered mobile number or email address
  • Product photos or videos if requested
  • Description of the issue

Claims may be submitted through website support form, email, WhatsApp support, or customer care channels.

6. Inspection and Approval

All warranty claims are subject to technical inspection and approval by Ratguard.

Ratguard reserves the right to repair the product, replace the product, provide a refurbished replacement, or reject invalid claims. The final decision after inspection shall remain binding.

7. Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers may be required to ship defective products to the designated service address.
  • Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer unless otherwise approved.
  • Ratguard is not responsible for products damaged during return transit due to improper packaging.

Customers are advised to use secure packaging while returning products.

8. No Consequential Liability

Ratguard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages including but not limited to vehicle wiring damage, rodent infestation losses, property damage, business interruption, financial losses, or loss of goods or inventory.

9. Jurisdiction

All disputes related to warranty claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Surat, Gujarat, India.
