2. Product Nature & Important Disclaimer

Ratguard products are ultrasonic rodent repellent devices designed to help reduce rodent activity. No electronic device, ultrasonic repellent, or pest-control product can guarantee 100% prevention of rodents, nesting, entry, or damage in all situations.

Product effectiveness may vary depending on:

  • Infestation level;
  • Installation quality;
  • Area coverage;
  • Food availability nearby;
  • Entry points and environmental conditions;
  • Continuous power supply and proper usage.

Customers are advised to maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and entry-point control for best results.

3. No Liability for Rodent Damage

Ratguard shall not be held responsible or liable for:

  • Vehicle wiring damage;
  • Engine damage;
  • Property damage caused by rodents;
  • Food or stock damage;
  • Business loss;
  • Repair costs;
  • Towing charges;
  • Indirect or consequential damages;
  • Any loss caused due to rodent activity before, during, or after product usage.

The customer acknowledges that rodents are living creatures whose behavior may vary based on environmental and surrounding conditions.

4. Product Usage Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Proper installation and usage of the product;
  • Following installation guides and instructions;
  • Using appropriate power supply and operating conditions;
  • Maintaining cleanliness and reducing rodent attractants nearby.

Improper installation, misuse, tampering, physical damage, water exposure, or unauthorized modification may void warranty eligibility.

5. Warranty Terms

5.1 SonicArmor X Car Kit Warranty

Ratguard SonicArmor X Car Kit products are covered under a limited 2-year warranty against verified manufacturing defects only.

5.2 Other Ratguard Products Warranty

All other Ratguard products are covered under a limited 1-year warranty against verified manufacturing defects only.

Warranty applies only to the Ratguard device itself and does not cover:

  • Rodent-related damage;
  • Vehicle repair costs;
  • External accessories;
  • Physical damage;
  • Burning or short-circuit due to external power conditions;
  • Water damage or misuse;
  • Normal wear and tear.

6. Orders & Pricing

Ratguard reserves the right to:

  • Cancel suspicious or fraudulent orders;
  • Limit order quantities;
  • Modify pricing without prior notice;
  • Refuse service at its sole discretion.

Prices displayed on the website are subject to applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Estimated delivery timelines are indicative only and may vary depending on courier operations, weather conditions, remote-area serviceability, strikes, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.

Ratguard shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party logistics providers.

8. Returns & Refunds

Return and refund requests shall be governed by the official Return & Refund Policy available on the website.

Refunds are only available within 7 days from delivery subject to policy conditions. After 7 days, products are covered only under warranty terms for manufacturing defects.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All website content including logos, product images, graphics, videos, text, designs, trademarks, and branding are the intellectual property of Ratguard and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

10. Website Usage Restrictions

Users agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful activities;

  • Spread malware or harmful code;

Ratguard shall not be responsible for delays or failure in performance caused by events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet disruptions, or logistics interruptions.

Customer information usage shall be governed by the official Privacy Policy available on the website.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising from use of this website, products, services, warranty claims, or purchases shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Surat, Gujarat, India, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
