2. Vehicle Installation Guidelines

For Ratguard vehicle protection systems:

• Install inside the engine compartment away from direct water splash.
• Keep away from moving engine parts.
• Ensure wires are properly secured.
• Avoid installation near extreme heat sources such as exhaust manifolds.
• Use proper polarity while connecting battery terminals.
• The device should remain continuously powered whenever possible.
